There are many different types and brands of Surveillance Recorders and Cameras. We have chosen the ones that work for us best and do the best performance for our customers.
Cameras and Recorders can be found on the internet from cheap to very expensive. Cameras can be found to do almost anything today with technology being what it is. If a 49$ camera does what you need done then that is all you need, if a3000$ camera is what you need then so be it. All cameras have their usefulness for the purpose designed and your imagination.
Digital Video Recorders are so widely spread in technology that customers are totally in awe of what they are shown available. DVR's (Digital Video Recorders) come in many versions. From 4 channel to 16 channel, some even touting 32 channel versions.
We have settled on two different models, both supplied by Eclipse CCTV. And they supply many models. We like the Nubix series for Small to Mid Size business use. We like the Savix series for Mid to Large size business use. Both have their own difference from each other. Check out the specifications and determine which is for your particular situation.
The Nubix series can be equipped with many different hard drive (storage capability)sizes. For a small to mid size business we recommend 160 to 300 megabytes of storage.For the mid to large size business we recommend 300 megabytes to 1.5 terabytes of storage.
Storage Capability is also determined by the type of recording and the resolution desired.
